MWKC is Sydney’s leading Paddling Community and Club located in the centre of the Northern Beaches, whose charter is to promote and advance paddling in NSW and Australia. “Quite simply we connect like-minded people with the water within a safe environment”
As one of Australia’s largest Clubs, our Club members number in the hundreds however we Engage with *8,105 Paddlesport Members Nationally, as well as Volunteers & Supporters.

Manly Warringah Kayak Club (MWKC) is situated on the beautiful Narrabeen Lake at Berry Reserve. The club has around 240 members of all ages and abilities, from beginners to Gold Medal winning Olympians, they paddle a variety of craft from K1/K2/K4, C1 canoes, SLSC Spec and Ocean Skis.
We are primarily a racing club, with our members competing in events such as the Paddle NSW Marathon Series, Ocean Races, Time Trials, Harbour and Sprint Series as well as ultra-marathons like the Hawkesbury and Myall Classic.
We have morning and afternoon training sessions, with paddlers who squeeze in a coffee or many also head straight into work in Manly, City, West and East. Our club house has a variety of public transport options including express buses in to the city.
Our club house has extensive facilities for members and club boat storage, along with Male and females bathrooms that also meet the needs of disabled paddlers who can use their wheelchairs to the edge of Narrabeen Lake. We have extensive car parking facilities around and adjunct to the club.
The club has a proud history of producing athletes who have competed at the Olympic’s. These Olympians competed in Los Angeles, Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, Beijing, London and Rio.
